Westchester-Putnam guitar society

We are an informal group of adult guitar and bass players who meet one on Sunday each month, at Teddy’s in the Holiday Inn in Mount Kisco, New York at 7:30pm. Our Purpose is to allow every player, who wishes to participate, to enjoy a full “entertainment experience”.

Participants include hobbyists, talented amateurs, and working professionals. We also include other instruments in our group. Everyone who shows up gets a chance to play in the group and an opportunity to solo. We have a group leader to “guide” the jams.

A second musical session, at a smaller venue, will be added to our schedule. We hope to meet monthly on Friday nights at 9:00pm. We have formed a core group and individual participants can jam or solo with backup if they wish.

Participants should bring amps, power strips and guitar stands to the Sunday night sessions, but do not need to bring this equipment on Fridays. Call ahead to see if there will be drums onsite, if you wish to play them.

Our group has received favorable press coverage from several local papers. We are always eager to meet newcomers.
