Westchester-Putnam guitar society

T he Westchester-Putnam Guitar Society was started by Gabe Siegel in 2006. He thought a group, where adult guitar players of all skill levels and interests could share their expertise and enthusiasm for the guitar, would be a great asset to this community.  

Led by a group leader, our sessions at the Holiday Inn have been both enjoyable and musically rewarding. We play in a “musician’s circle”, unlike traditional jams, giving everyone a chance to play, and if they wish, to solo.

The sessions at O’Malley’s are more of a traditional jam with no more that three or four players at one time. These are also led by a group leader and everyone gets a chance to play and solo, if they wish.

We take a break during the Winter, when the weather is unpredictable and pick - up our sessions again in March.
